Yuca

Yuca is the third most widely consumed carbohydrate in the world.
Also known as Casava it should not be confused with "yucca" - which is a cactus succulent plant.
Yuca must be properly prepared due to a poison that the raw form has.
The final product is similar to a potato - but has much more flavor.
